Funeral Services at Beaver Creek Cowboy Church, Duncan, Thursday, May 10 at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Gary Thurman Officiating under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home with burial in the Walters Cemetery.

Dorothy Sue Sparks was born to Charles Richard and Joyce Marie (Wainscott) Brown on December 9, 1942 at Walters, OK and departed this life in Oklahoma City, OK on May 7, 2018 at the age of 75 years, 4 months and 29 days.

Dorothy grew up at Walters. She married Roger L. Studer and to the union 4 daughters were born. As a military wife she traveled the world, making her home in Alaska, Virginia, France and California.  She later married Bobby Lee Sparks on January 7, 1976 at Wichita Falls, TX and to the union a son was born. As a construction wife she moved to jobs sites in Texas, Missouri and Kentucky, but made their home in Wichita Falls, Duncan, Empire, Temple and Walters.

She was a member of Beaver Creek Cowboy Church. She loved shopping at thrift stores, flea markets and garage sales and also loved dress shopping. Through the years she enjoyed league bowling, playing cards and crocheting. She loved spending time with her grandkids, Christmas gatherings, barbeques and camping at Lake Latonka with the family.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Sparks of the home; 4 daughters, Tammy Kay Collins of Walters, Annette Rena Hargrove of Olathe, KS, Robin Lynn Studer of Haltom City, TX and life-partner Robin Jean Haney, Shawn Marie Studer of Iowa Park, TX and life-partner Clarissa Kuykendall; a son, Bobby Leon Sparks and wife Brandy of Walters; 3 grandchildren, Matthew Collins, Bethany Sparks and Baylor Sparks; a great grandchild, Parker Alan Stevenson; her brother, Johnny Brown of Duncan; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
