Funeral Services at First Christian Church, Walters, Tuesday, April 24 at 1:30 p.m., Rev. Brantley Tillery officiating under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters with burial in the Walters Cemetery.
Jamie June (Hooser) Silcock was born to James and Kathy (Whitehead) Hooser on November 5, 1971 in Lawton, OK and departed this life in Oklahoma City on April 20, 2018 at the age of 46 years, 5 months and 15 days.

Jamie grew up in Walters through the second grade when the family moved to Lawton. There she attended Lawton Christian School before graduating from Eisenhower High School in 1990. She attended OU for 2 years, then transferred to Purdue University where she received her undergraduate degree in nursing. She worked as an RN for several years in the Dallas area before completing her Masters Degree at the University of Texas at Arlington then receiving her Nurse Practitioner license.
Jamie married Thomas Frank Silcock on March 5, 2014 at Devol, OK. Together they opened her medical practice in Walters in the summer of 2014. At 12 years old she worked as a “candy striper” for Southwestern Hospital in Lawton which paved the way for her passion as an RN and later an NP. Her patients were her concern and passion to the end, along with her beloved children. She and Thomas enjoyed life in the country and hunting together.
Growing up she had enjoyed singing with her family in duets, trios and doing solos. She always loved animals including her dog Gracie who helped run the office. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Walters.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Silcock, of the home; her children, Austin Wells of Dallas, TX, Hannah Wells and Dalton Wells both of Plano, TX; her parents, Jim and Kathy Hooser of Walters; her brother, Jeff Hooser of Walters; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
