Randy Lee Glasgow

Funeral Service at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Walters, Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Joseph David officiating with interment in the Walters Cemetery.

A Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters.

Randy Lee Glasgow was born to Lindel and Lois Evelyn (Kiser) Glasgow on January 21, 1948 in Temple, OK and departed this life at Memorial Hospital, Lawton, OK on February 25, 2018 at the age of 70 years, 1 month and 4 days.

Randy grew up at Temple, graduating from THS in 1966. He then attended Cameron University and Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He married Mary Flanagan on November 16, 1968 in Walters, OK and to the union 2 children were born. Randy was a welder at Lawrence Steel for 30 years and then did HVAC welding for Pippin Bros. of Lawton for several years as an independent contractor. Randy was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to the races at Lawton Speedway.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lindel Glasgow; his grandparents, Les and Eda Kiser, Ross and Nellie Glasgow; his in-laws, Funston and Frances Flanagan; and his granddaughter, Lisa Marie Carr.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Glasgow of the home in Walters; his son, Joel Glasgow of Ada, OK; his daughter, Stephanie Carr and husband Shawn of Yukon, OK; granddaughters, Brooke Carr and Brittany Carr; his mother, Lois Glasgow of Temple; 3 siblings, Yvonne Moore of Oklahoma City, Mark Glasgow of Temple, and Pamela Schumpert of Walters; other relatives and friends.
