Nelda Sue (Bean) Henderson was born to James Hugh and Grace Lophene (Oller) Bean on May 18, 1936 at Temple, Oklahoma and departed this life at her home in Grapevine, TX on November 27, 2017 at the age of 81 years, 6 months and 9 days.

Sue grew up at Temple, graduating from Temple High in 1954. She married Vernie R. Henderson on April 17, 1954 and to the union 2 children were born. They have made their home at Grapevine, TX, for many years where she was employed as a customer service representative for a film processing company. She has enjoyed photography, boating, camping, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.H. “Buck” and Grace Bean; her brother, Billy Hugh Bean; and her sister, Betty Lou Newsom.

Survivors include her husband, Vernie, of Grapevine; her son, Mark Henderson and wife Susan of Roanoke, TX; her daughter, Susan Edwards and husband Tim of Argyle, TX; her grandchildren, Michael Henderson, Jonathan Henderson and fiancé Ali Ward, Matthew Edwards and wife Katie, Marissa Finch, Preston Edwards and Grayson Edwards; 2 great grandchildren, Adam Henderson and Liam Edwards; several beloved brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
