Leroy Davis was born to William Roscoe and Dora Mozell (Grisham) Davis on April 10, 1937 in Bakersfield, CA and departed this life on August 1, 2017 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 80 years, 3 months and 22 days.

Leroy grew up at Borger, TX. He joined the United States Navy at age 17 and the following year he married Anna Belle Wooldridge in May of 1955. They first made Walters their home and then due to both being employed in Temple they moved there in 1969 where he worked for Dick Evans Construction for many years. In 1980 he began operating Davis Heating and Air. He eventually took the head of maintenance job at Temple Housing Authority serving from 1999 to 2010. He enjoyed years of scuba diving, fishing and golf.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Billie Cletafaye Davis; and a grandson, Christopher Lee Bowles.

Survivors include his wife, Ann, of the home; 3 children, Leigh Ann Moates of Temple, Londa Rene Johnson and husband Damon of Temple, and William Richard Davis and wife Connie of Hydro, OK; 6 grandchildren and spouses, Shelley Rene Bowles Patman and Becky of Temple, Holly Gayle Wiedow and Nathan of Mesa, AZ, Micah Keith Woods of Lawton, Tracy Nicole Moates of Lawton, Dawn Jarie Keller and Jeff of Weatherford, OK, Jared Blake Davis and Shelly of Chapmansboro, TN; 17 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
