Funeral service at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at First Baptist Church Devol, OK, Rev. Ronnie Morgan Officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Randlett, OK under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters.
Billy Ray was born April 27, 1937 in Tishomingo, OK to Romey and Susie (Vert) Arles and went to his heavenly home Thursday, June 1, 2017 at his home in Randlett, OK. He married Billie Ann Vanscoder On October 2, 1958 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Billy Ray attended First Baptist Church in Devol, Oklahoma. He enjoyed spending time with his family, pouring concrete, coon hunting, fishing and living life to its fullest. Billy Ray poured concrete for over 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife and one true love Billie Ann on July 18, 1990; his parents, Romey and Susie Arles; 4 brothers, Floyd, James, Alex and Joe Arles; a sister, Leoma Schollard; Father and Mother-in-Law, Charlie and Helen Shackelford; 2 sons-in-law Earl Denham and Eddie Denham; a special friend, Brian Siegfried; a Great-Grandson, Michael Pickens; and his beloved coon dog, Red River King Arles.
Billy Ray is survived by 5 daughters, Elaine Blowers and husband Larry of Wichita Falls, LaShauna Arles-Richards and husband Destry of Randlett, Connie Adams and husband David of Randlett, Cathy Hutchinson and husband Martin of Sterling, and Charlene Denham of Ryan, OK; grandchildren, Tiffany Denham and Wally Soewu, Billy and Ally Denham, Kevin Denham, Cheyenne Phillips, Dustin and Becca Hutchinson, Mindy and Rodney Tate, Nikki and Roy Kerns, Laura and Jesse Knox, Beth and Ray Wood, and Michelle and Danny Barnett; great-grandchildren, Keegan, Jenna, Lane, Kayla, Chase, Devon, Tanner, Patrick, Grady, Clare Dawn, Jaden, Jordan, Gunner, Paige, Payton, Jaci, Leigha, Leland and Wrangler; two sisters, Leona Robinson and Christene Rolen; a sister-in-law, Ruby Arles; a once in a lifetime friend Jessie and Sue Johnson; numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
