Gloria Beth Laminack

Funeral Services at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel, Walters, OK, Thursday, February 16 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Arbuary Ritter and Wayne Laminack officiating with burial in the Fairview Cemetery, Randlett, OK. Visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Hart-Wyatt. Gloria Beth Laminack was born to Manton Leon and Betty Marie Brown on March 14, 1953 in Hayward, CA and departed this life in Devol, OK on February 13, 2017. 

Gloria and her family moved to Byers, TX from California when she was in kindergarten and by second grade the family had moved to Friona, TX where she graduated from high school in 1971. She married Roy Steven Laminack on June 8, 1981 at Lawton, OK and they made their home in Wichita Falls, TX. They soon moved to Devol, OK, living on Deep Red until September of 1987, moving to their current home south of Devol on the Red River.

Gloria worked for the United States Postal Service for 20 plus years beginning at the Grandfield Post Office then moving to the Randlett Post Office as Postmaster for the last half of her career. She loved spending time with the grandkids and watching them in their activities and sports. She enjoyed and had a way with all kinds of animals, tame or wild. She loved spending time in the outdoors, riding four wheelers on the river and checking cows. She was always happy and full of life with an infectious laugh that filled the room.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Steve, of the home; 3 children, Brad Laminack and Nona, Lisa Laminack and Gary Howard, Scott Laminack and Regina all of Devol; a brother, Steven Ray Brown and wife Bonnie of Houston, TX; 4 grandkids, McKenna and Katelyn Laminack, Landry and Lincoln Laminack; 2 step-grandkids, Maegan and Kailyn Howard; other relatives and many friends.
