Frances Estelle Zachary

Graveside service at the Temple Cemetery, Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Brant Stubblefield officiating under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Temple.

Frances Estelle (Waller) Zachary was born to Roy and Floy E. (Hooper) Waller on October 27, 1929 in Hastings, OK and departed this life in Duncan, OK on November 14, 2016 at the age of 87 years and 18 days.

Frances graduated from Temple High School in the Class of 1947. She soon married Harold J. Zachary on November 22, 1947 in Wichita Falls, TX and they have made their home in the Temple area.

Frances was an excellent cook and loved cooking for family and friends. She had a love for nature and often shared the beautiful sunsets with her family.

She traveled to several states and places including Hawaii, Alaska, Canada and Mexico. Her love for South Padre, TX, was her most memorable destination.

Frances was the oldest living Waller descendant at the time of her death.

Survivors include her husband, Harold, of the home; one sister, Mildred Gaugau, of Chelsea, OK; a son, Cecil Zachary and his wife, Deb, of Waurika, OK; a daughter, Louise and her husband, Cliff Groom, of Skiatook, OK; also 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and her mother.
