Funeral Services at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel, Walters, Thursday, October 27 at 2:00 p.m., Billy Irons officiating with burial in the Walters Cemetery. Visitation from 5-7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Hart-Wyatt.
Paul Michael Pauchey "Mike" was born May 27, 1948 at Lawton, OK and died at his home near Walters, OK Sunday, October 23 at the age of 68 years, 4 months and 26 days.
Mike grew up in Lawton Oklahoma, graduating from Lawton High in 1966 and then attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University, graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Business. Mike met his wife Cindy Currell in the fall of 1991 and they married June 3, 2000 at their farm house in Walters, OK. He owned and ran his company, Brothers and Sisters Music from 1973 to 2010.
His hobbies included playing softball and sponsored his team, Brothers and Sisters, for 25 years. They won 6-class A state titles and one regional championship. He enjoyed gardening with his wife Cindy and was an avid reader.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Opal Dee Hunt, and his aunt Helen Winkleman.
Survivors include his wife Cindy Pauchey of Walters; his daughter Kelly and husband Don Thomas of Chattanooga, TN; daughter Audra and husband Al Castle of Oklahoma City; son Russell Smith and fiancé Kimberly Campbell of Lawton; grandkids include Kyle and wife Savannah Thomas, McKenna, and Cody Thomas of Chattanooga, TN, Natalie Smith of El Paso, TX, Kiara and Andre Smith of Lawton OK.
