Graveside Service at the Fairview Cemetery, Randlett, OK, 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 27. Viewing at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters, OK, Tuesday from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Raymond Mills was born April 15, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY and succumbed to Pulmonary Infection on April 24 in Randlett, OK at the age of 84 years and 9 days.

Raymond served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean war. He married Laveta Voncile Echols in California and they made their way to Newark, NJ, where they lived for 16 years and he was employed by Westinghouse. They then moved to Las Vegas for a year before settling in Burkburnett, TX in 1973 and he began working for Howmet.

He leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Laveta Mills of Burkburnett, TX; 3 children, Harry Earl Mills of Randlett, OK, Lisa René Gholston of Kansas City, MO, Mary Ann Ellis and fiancé Sal Ciulla of Houma, LA; a step-son, Deward Wilton Black of Racine, WI; 8 grandchildren, Tiffany Nicole Gholston, Amy Elizabeth Marshall and husband Anthony, Eric Michael Gholston, David Ray Ellis, Daniel Ryan Ellis, Joey Dzurnak, Julie Clune and Laurie Hulsey; 15 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
