Cecil Grubb

Cecil Grubb, 57, Tuttle, OK Graveside services at the Temple Cemetery, Temple, OK, Wednesday, November 11 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Kevin Simpson officiating under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Temple. Cecil Ray Grubb was born to M. L. "Bud" and Alla Mae (Mustain) Grubb on February 16, 1958 at Comanche, OK and departed this life in Tuttle, OK on November 7, 2015 at the age of 57 years, 8 months and 22 days. Cecil grew up at Temple, OK, graduating from THS in 1976. He made his home mainly in the Oklahoma City area and worked in the horse racing industry for many years as an assistant trainer. The job took him to tracks such as, Remington Park, Hot Springs, Louisiana Downs, Sam Houston Raceway, as well as, to Chicago and several other tracks across the country, both big and small. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; and his sister, Phyllis Noblin. Survivors include 3 brothers, Randy Grubb of Tuttle, OK, Howard Grubb and Dennis Grubb both of Temple; a sister, Dorothy Mitchell and husband Walter of Lubbock, TX; a brother-in-law, Johnny Noblin of Westville, OK; other relatives and many friends.
