Wayne W. Damron

Wayne Damron, 87, Whitehouse, TX Memorial Service at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel in Walters, OK on Saturday, October 24, at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Brantley Tillery officiating. Wayne W. Damron was born August 28, 1928 in Comanche, OK and departed this life in Whitehouse, TX on October 15, 2015 at the age of 87 years, 1 month and 17 days. Wayne married Dortha Lee Hoodenpyle from Walters, Oklahoma in 1946. They moved to Bellflower, California in 1950 where they made their home for many years. She preceded him in death on May 25, 1999. From California Wayne made his home in Missouri for a time until moving on to Whitehouse, TX. He is survived by five children, Terry, Deena, Pete, Melvin, Fred; 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He will be remembered by most as a very hard working man with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed construction work, and fishing.
