Dorothy Jewel (Stapp) Cargil was born to Herbert Roy and Flois Belle (Avens) Stapp on March 10, 1943 at Walters, OK and departed this life in Jackson, MS on September 9, 2015 at the age of 72 years, 5 months and 30 days. Dorothy grew up in the Walters and Temple, OK, area and attended Temple High School. She married John Cargil from Satartia, MS. Through the years she was both a homemaker and was self-employed. She enjoyed sewing, hunting and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 3 brothers, Kenneth Dean Stapp, Herbert Roy Stapp Jr., and William Thomas Stapp; and a sister, Betty Jo Posada. Survivors include her children, Robert Taylor, Bentonia, MS, Reginna Richard and husband Mark, Brookeland, TX, Edna Taylor, Bentonia, MS and Eric Taylor, Marietta, GA; her grandchildren, Robert Taylor Jr., O'Fallon, MO, Mark Richard Jr., Dallas, TX, Bob Richard, Brookeland, TX, Kenneth Taylor, Flora, MS, Samantha Taylor, Jacksonville, FL, Gabrielle Taylor, Jacksonville, FL; her great grandchildren, Seth Richard, Kenner, LA, Carly, Chloe, and, Robby Taylor, O'Fallon, Missouri, Alessandra Richard, Dallas, TX, Nolan Richard, Brookeland, TX; 2 brothers, Raymond Glenn Stapp of Walters and Billy Gene Stapp of Comache, OK; 3 sisters, Sarah Mae Miller of Walters, Mescal Jean Smith of Oysterville, WA and Elsie Ann Melius of The Dalles, OR; many nieces and nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.
