Violet Louise Jackson was born to Emmett and Bertha (Gwyer) Hampton in Shawnee, OK on July 7, 1918 and departed this life in Temple, OK on April 27, 2009 at the age of 90 years, 9 months and 20 days. Violet grew up in the Shawnee, OK area. She married Theodore Walker in 1935, and to this union four children were born. They made their in Oklahoma moving from town to town. She later married Willie A. "Bill" Jackson on April 11, 1952 making their home in Wichita Falls then Petrolia, TX and eventually on to Walters. Violet enjoyed gardening, growing her roses, working puzzle books and her spending time with the grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband; 2 sons, Charles and Larry Walker; six brothers and a sister. Survivors include a son, Norman Dean Walker of Graham, TX; a daughter, Linda Brasier of Walters; 20 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
