Graveside Service in the Fairview Cemetery, Randlett, OK, Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Arbuary Ritter officiating. Burial in the Fairview Cemetery, Randlett, OK under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters, OK.

Anna Faye (Cochran) Griffin was born to Floyd and Annie May (Hendrix) Cochran on November 29, 1934 in Bokchito, OK and departed this life in Burkburnett, TX on January 15, 2021 at the age of 86 years, 1month and 17 days.

Faye grew up in Eastern Oklahoma until the family moved to Randlett, OK. She married Jimmy Keith Griffin on February 18, 1953 in Randlett. They moved a few times with Jimmy’s job then returned to Oklahoma in 1963, living southeast of Cookietown until finishing the new home at Randlett in 1964. She was employed at Haggars in Temple and then worked 20 plus years as station manager for Vickers Petroleum Co. in Burkburnett, TX.

She enjoyed gardening and fishing, and loved her grandkids and cooking for them. Faye was a member of Union Valley Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Annie Cochran; her husband, Jimmy Griffin in 2014; her four siblings Margie Bates, Edgar Lee Cochran, Donald Cochran and Floyd Cochran Jr.; and her grandson, Larame Griffin.

Survivors include 4 children and their spouses, Rodney and Trish Griffin of Randlett, OK, Rick and Terry Griffin of Burkburnett, TX, Lori and Kevin Sykes of Leonard, TX, Randy and Beverly Griffin of Waurika Lake; 8 grandchildren, and their spouses Kristi and Harold Winton, Jr., Gena and Bobby Waitman, Bradley and Shana Griffin, Chance and Brittany Sykes, Lindsey and Josh Bryant, Wesley and Savanah Griffin, Whitney and Joe Patterson, Trace Griffin; 14 great grandchildren, Brecken, Blaine, Jordan, Brennan, Gunner, Sidney, Cannon, Riley, Summer, Emersynn, Eli, Kinsley, Lucy, and Hadley; other relatives and friends.
