Ashleigh Ann Lewis was born July 1, 1985, in Lawton, OK and departed this life in Lawton on August 2, 2026, at the age of 41 years, 1 month and 1 day.

Ashleigh grew in Grandfield attending Grandfield Schools through her sophomore year. The family moved to rural Devol in 2002, and she finished her junior and senior years at Big Pasture High School graduating in 2003. Ashleigh received her CNA and worked in healthcare Lawton Acute Rehab, Lawton/Fort Sill Veterans Center and Evergreen Healthcare Center in Burkburnett. She has most recently been employed at IHOP in Lawton.

Ashleigh accepted Jesus as her savior at the age of 12 and was baptized at First Baptist Church in Grandfield. She later joined Devol First Baptist. She enjoyed listening to music. She never met a stranger, and it was always easy for her to make a good friend. She was willing to give the shirt off her back if someone needed it. She loved spending time with her kids.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Breanna Powell; and 4 grandparents, Loyd Groves, Karol Mote, JP Mote, and Glenn Powell.

She is survived by her parents, Greg and Karla Powell of Devol; 3 children, Ashlynn Powell of Devol, Nathan Medrano of Grandfield and Willie Lewis of Devol; 3 siblings, Gerrad Powell and Alexis of Wichita Falls, Tori Cochrane of Chattanooga, and Justin Avant of Frederick; 2 grandmothers, Jackie Powell of Devol and Tammy Groves of Randlett; other relatives and friends.
