Betty Lou (Kilburn) Evans was born to Fred Thomas and Ordnell Mae (Parson) Kilburn on June 22, 1960 in New Madrid, MO and departed this life in Walters, OK on July 7, 2025 at the age of 65 years and 15 days.

Betty grew up in Missouri until moving to Lawton and then Walters in her late teens. She then spent most of her adult years in South Carolina, Tennessee and North Carolina before returning to Walters to live with her sister Robin in 2024.

Betty enjoyed knitting and quilting, watching The Young and The Restless with her sister. She never missed watching her wrestling on Monday and Friday nights. When she was not doing that, she was enjoying time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Ordnell Kilburn; her sisters, Linda Mixon and Robin Courtright; and a nephew, Chris Hurt.

Survivors include her brother-in-law, Dennis Courtright of Walters; 2 nephews, Jason Courtright and Ashley of Lindsay, OK, and Brent Courtright of Walters; 3 great nephews, Blaine Courtright, Grayson and Gavin Hamilton all of Lindsay; a special friend who helped care for her, Kristina Denney of Walters; and longtime friend, Gina Suson of Walters.
