Billie Ann (McIlhaney) Tollett-Penn went to join her heavenly family, Saturday, March 3, 2024 at the age of 86. She was born in Taylor Store Community east of Randlett, OK to William A. McIlhaney Jr. and Beatrice Dudley, February 2, 1938.

Billie lived in several local towns in her early life with a short stay in California. She started school in Walters but soon moved to Temple where she graduated in 1956. In high school she participated in the band and loved acting, singing and “hamming it up.” Her nickname was “Frenchie.”
After high school she found a job and fell in love with Cairl Tollett Jr. They married in 1957 and in 1958 Michael Hines Tollett was born. Bobby Wayne Tollett came along in 1959 and David Anthony Tollett in 1968.

Cairl and Billie were farmers, in the trucking business, the pawn shop business, the western wear business and for many years was a hard-working loving mother and wife. After Cairl passed away, she worked for the post office and also sold Avon.

Billie’s talent as an artist never reached its full potential, but the one thing she loved was pretty flowers. She would stick it in the ground and it would grow.

She married Ora A. Correll in 2006 and he preceded her in 2008. She later married William Z. Penn in 2018.

She is survived by her husband, William; her 3 sons, Michael, Bobby and Natalie, David and Carey; a step-son Zed Penn and Rose; and step-daughter Allison Yates; also her grandchildren, Dylan, Brooke, Austin, Blaklea and Caleigh, Scott and Kaylynn, Jason and Shalina, Trevor and Chelsea, Alyssa and Jose, Skylr, Nate, Ashlin; her great grandchildren, Madison, Jensen, Peyton, Baker, Jaxon, Ryker, Lucy, Ezra, Cooper and Ramzie Jo; 3 sisters, June, Glenda Sue and Eddie, Vicki and Cotton; and a brother, Elmer Ray; many nieces, nephews, cousins and double cousins along with many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Cairl Tollett and Ora Correll; and grandson, Travis Tollett; a brother, Stanley Womack; and sister, Phyllis Kinder.
