A Memorial Graveside Service will be held at the Walters Cemetery, Walters, OK on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Paul Metcalfe officiating under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home.

Clinton Harris, beloved husband, devoted father, son, brother, friend, and United States Navy veteran, passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 31, surrounded by the love of his family.

Clinton was born on March 17, 1995, in Wichita Falls, Texas, and proudly called Walters, Oklahoma, his hometown. Throughout his life, Clinton was known for his strength, loyalty, sense of humor, and, most importantly, his deep love and devotion to his family.

Clinton proudly served his country for 10 years in the United States Navy, achieving the rank of Gunner’s Mate Second Class (GM2). During his naval career, he served aboard the USS Rushmore, where he completed multiple deployments and had the opportunity to visit numerous countries around the world. He was later stationed at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and, toward the end of his military career, at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach, California. His decade of service brought him experiences, friendships, and a brotherhood with his fellow Sailors that remained an important part of his life.

The USS Rushmore also became part of one of the most meaningful chapters of Clinton’s life—it was where he met his wife, Marie. What began as two Sailors serving aboard the same ship grew into a life and family they built together. Their journey took them from shipmates to husband and wife, and eventually to becoming parents and creating a home filled with love, memories, and adventures.

Clinton was the proud and loving father of Corbin Harris, Cai Harris, and Trinity Harris. Being a father was one of the greatest and most meaningful parts of his life. The love he had for his children was immeasurable, and the memories and lessons he gave them will remain a lasting part of his legacy.

Outside of his military service, Clinton loved hiking, bowling, spending time with his family, traveling, and visiting National Parks. He enjoyed exploring new places and creating experiences with the people he loved. He was also a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, proudly supporting his team through every season.

Clinton’s life was defined not only by his service to his country, but by the love he gave to those around him. He was a Sailor, husband, father, and friend whose presence touched many lives. Even during the most difficult chapters of his journey, he demonstrated tremendous courage and strength.

Clinton is survived by his loving wife, Marie Deiparine; his children, Corbin Ray Harris and Trinity Mae Harris; his mother and stepdad, Mindy Harris-Brown and Brian Brown; his brothers and sisters, Mary Tomlinson and husband Randy, Bobby Harris Jr., Brandy Demers and Christian Harris; his maternal grandma, Sandra Reberger and husband John; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Daisy and Chuck Methvin; many other family members, fellow Sailors, and countless friends who will continue to carry his memory with them.

He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Cai Eli Harris, and his father, Bobby Ray “Buddy” Harris.

Although Clinton’s 31 years were far too few, they were filled with service, adventure, friendship, family, and an extraordinary amount of love. His legacy will live on through his children, through the family he built, through the Sailors who served beside him, and through every person fortunate enough to have shared a part of his journey.

He will be deeply loved, profoundly missed, and forever remembered.
