Connie Lee (Pennington) Pierce was born to Glenn Edward and Nancy Orinthia (Turner) Pennington on November 8, 1947 in Grandfield, OK and departed this life in Geronimo, OK on August 22, 2023 at the age of 75 years, 9 months and 14 days.

Connie grew up in Randlett, eventually moving to Cache, OK where she graduated from CHS in 1966. She worked 30 years with Southwestern Bell and then did bookkeeping for 5 years for Dr. Roundtree. She married Gary Lee Pierce at the Holy City Chapel.  

Connie attended the Arena Cowboy Church until her health began to fail. She enjoyed Camping at Fort Cobb, gardening, reading, sewing, thrift shopping and antiquing. Having only been to two other states prior, she enjoyed traveling out of state with Gary.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters, Dixie Fischer and Bonita Depue.

Survivors include her husband, Gary, of the home; 2 children, Robynne Gamache and Chad of San Antonio, TX and James Pierce of Geronimo; 3 brothers, C.L. Pennington of Cache, Ruanchy Pennington and Tammye of Duncan and Randy Pennington of Lawton; a granddaughter, Kindra Gamache of Charleston, SC; other relatives and friends.
