Danelle Feeback Nix

November 29, 1971 — July 24, 2023

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2023 at the Church of the Nazarene in Walters, OK.

Memorial service can be viewed on Facebook live at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home, Inc.

Danelle Nix, 51 of Yuma, Arizona was called home suddenly on July 24, 2023 in Yuma. The loss was unexpected and deeply saddened her family.

Danelle was born November 29, 1971, in Wickenburg, AZ. She grew up in Elgin, OK and lived the majority of her adult life in Lawton, OK.

In 2016 she and the love of her life moved to Yuma, AZ, or “Paradise” as her future husband called it. She married James Nix or, as he called himself, “The luckiest guy in the world” on February 14, 2017, in Las Vegas, NV.

She found her calling when she became a nurse. She worked as a floor nurse and worked her way up to becoming the MDS coordinator at Haven Health Yuma. She was very much appreciated by both management as well as her co-workers and will be missed terribly. She took pride in her job and loved signing her name “D Nix, LPN.”

She had a love for true crime movies, shoes, purses, and Starbucks cups. When she visited back home in Lawton, she liked to stop at all her favorite places to eat, especially Salas and Waynes.

Danelle was a proud mom and biggest fan of her daughter, Brittany, and she loved getting to be neighbors and seeing her best friend (her mom) every day in Yuma.

Danelle was preceded in death by the love of her life, James B Nix.

Danelle is survived by her children: Brittany and Luke Patman, David and Kayla Nix, Jen and TJ Gibson, Ashley and Cole Mallett, and Ryan Nix; her grandchildren: Jagger, Dash, Braxton, Connor, Kensi, River, Ty, Zoe, August, Reece, and Riley; her parents: Sam Feeback,  Kathy and Joe Pazoureck: a brother, Sammy and Corrina Feeback; her uncles: Sonny Clark and David Feeback; her cousins: Retta, Kelley, and Ed; her furbaby, Bella; and numerous nieces, nephews, second cousins and many beloved friends.

We ask that when you attend this celebration, please do so with joy in your heart and remember the good times. If you would like to share good memories, you would be welcomed to do so.

No flowers please, she was never able to keep a plant alive and would not want to continue that tradition since passing.
