David Mendoza Arzola

Graveside Service at the Temple Cemetery, Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 9:00 a.m., with Paul Arzola officiating. Visitation will be held at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Temple from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday evening, July 31st.

David Mendoza Arzola was born to Damian Arzola and Juanita (Mendoza) Arzola on December 28, 1968, in San Felipe, GTO, MX and departed this life in Temple, OK on July 27, 2026 at the age of 57 years and 6 months.

Coming from Mexico at the age of 5, David grew up at Temple, graduating from THS in 1988. He made Temple his home where he raised 3 sons, Kevin, Aaron and Barron. He worked several years as a farmhand for the Vache and Parkey Families and then took a welding job with Pipping Worldwide, and then with JV Industrial. Next, he hired on with Amron, which became NOV, doing welding and fabrication for the company until ill health forced him away in 2024.

David enjoyed working and hanging out with friends. He enjoyed life and loved time spent with his family.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Juanita Arzola.

Survivors include his father, Damian Arzola; 3 sons, Kevin Arzola of Duncan, OK, Aaron Arzola and Carrie of Burkburnett, and Barron Arzola of Abilene, TX; his brother, Paul Arzola of Temple; 3 sisters, Maria Lipscomb and Brian of Temple, Anna Emert and Greg of Lexington, and Norma Smith and LB of Walters; 4 grandchildren Abby, Scarlett, Whitley and Karson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
