David A. Wolfe

Graveside Service on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., Lance Smith officiating with burial in the Faxon Cemetery under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters. Visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening December 26.

David Allen Wolfe was born to Allen Royal and Bettye Jean (Comstock) Wolfe on April 21, 1951 at Lawton, OK and departed this life in Lawton on December 22, 2018 at the age of 67 years, 8 months and 1 day.

David graduated from Chattanooga High School in 1969. He married Janet Lee Johnsey on April 9, 1971 and to the union 2 sons were born. They made their home west of Geronimo since that time and have engaged in farming, custom harvesting, hauling cotton, doing backhoe work and trucking. He was a supporter of several FFA chapters and loved watching his kids and grandkids show.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Bettye Wolfe, and his wife Janet.

Survivors include 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Brad and Jami Wolfe of Chattanooga, Jeremy and Gentry Wolfe of Geronimo; 2 grandchildren, Gracen and Tracen Wolfe; his sister and brother-in-law, Reta and Roger Stewart of Cullman, AL; his brother, Dale Wolfe of Chattanooga; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sharon and Vonden Malone of Sterling; a close niece, Camy Bolling of Geronimo; many other beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
