Dora Bea (Neal) Watkins was born to Lester Lee and Thelma Lorene (Payne) Neal on May 16, 1941 in Sulphur, OK and departed this life in Temple, OK on January 13, 2021 at the age of 79 years, 7 months and 28 days.

Dora grew up attending school in the Claypool, OK, community. She married Donald Ray Watkins on December 29, 1956 in Wilson, OK and they raised 3 children, Donnie, Keith and Lisa.

She worked at Haggar’s in Temple and then upon the death of Donald, helped in the office of the family business at D-K Metal Form Co., Inc. She loved reading and going to auctions. She had a love and passion for all kinds of music and she loved to dance. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Waurika and a proud member of the Choctaw Nation.

Dora was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Lester Neal Jr.; her husband, Donald; and her beloved granddaughter, Kalie Sierra Watkins.

Survivors include her 3 children, Donnie and Sandra Watkins of Waurika, Keith and Patricia Watkins of Walters, and Lisa Waid of Lawton; her sister, Ramona Warden of Megargle, TX; and 4 grandchildren, Renae, Braden, Seth and Chris.

The family would like to thank the staff at Temple Manor for their excellent care and loved they have shown Dora for the past four years. Thanks also to Centric Hospice Care staff and especially hospice nurse, Stacy Dodd, we love you all.
