Eddie Lowell Eschler

Eddie Lowell “Ed L” Eschler was born to Ed and Mildred Eschler in Cotton County, Oklahoma on June 4, 1934 and departed this life in Denver, Colorado on December 13, 2025. Eddie was the oldest of four children. He attended Temple Public Schools, graduating from THS in 1952. He was active in all high school sports and loved his classmates and his days as a Temple Tiger. Ed earned a four-year football scholarship to Oklahoma A&M College (Oklahoma State University) and graduated with a B.A. degree in 1956.

Ed married Claudia Hennessee in 1956 and to their union three children were born. Ed spent his working years in sales and sales management in the building and building materials field. This business life moved them from Oklahoma to Nebraska, Iowa, Texas and Colorado. Ed and Claudia divorced in 1987.

In 1995 Ed married Yvonne K Rose. Ed enjoyed all competitive sporting events, enjoyed playing golf and bridge and spending many winters with his wife, Yvonne, in Surprise, Arizona.

Ed was preceded in death by his father and mother. Ed is survived by his wife, Yvonne, his son Mike and wife Lori, his daughter Marla Tong and husband Jeff, and his daughter Marcy Olson and husband Bob, all of Colorado Springs. He is also survived by his six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Joe and two sisters, Peggy Flanagan and Jean Rosentreter, as well as several nieces nephews and cousins.

Memorial Services will be held at Union Valley Baptist Church-Cookietown, Randlett, OK on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Cecil Boydston officiating. Arrangements with Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home of Walters, Oklahoma.
