Funeral Service at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel, Walters, OK, Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with interment in the Walters Cemetery with Military Honors. Viewing on Friday from 9am to 8pm and on Saturday from 9am to service.

James Brian Seddon was born to James Arnold and Sharon Ann (Piper) Seddon on July 10, 1967, in Owensboro, KY and departed this life at his home in rural Chattanooga, OK, on May 11, 2026, at the age of 58 years, 10 months and 1 day.

Brian grew up living in several Indiana towns, with Rockport as the family’s hometown. He joined the United States Air Force, serving his country honorably during the 1st Gulf War. He then served at Nellis AFB near Las Vegas before transferred to Sheppard AFB near Wichita Falls, TX, during his 20-year career with the Air Force, retiring in 2008. He has since used his military knowledge of fuel storage systems, working for government contractors such as ITSIS, Gilbane and currently CMS at Tinker AFB as sight superintendent, redoing fuel tanks and lines.

Brian has been with Deborah Sue Miller for the past 23 years and the couple eventually wed on October 9, 2025, in Oklahoma City. He enjoyed horses, rodeos and casinos, hunting, going to auctions and watching sports. He and Debbie enjoyed going for rides in the country. He loved things clean, neat and orderly.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Sharon Seddon.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Miller Seddon, of the home; his son, Dylan Seddon; his daughter, Jordan Seddon; his sister, Sherry Mosley and husband Al of Scottsburg, IN; his nieces, Codie Menzing (her kids, Layne and Abigail), Faith Mosley and Maggie Mosley; and his nephew, Max Mosley.
