Jean Ann Ziehe

Graveside Services on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters.

Jean Ann (Adkins) Ziehe was born to Wynemia Adkins Davis and Dan Adkins on November 29, 1952, in Walters, OK and departed this life on October 28, 2023 in Joplin, MO at the age of 70 years, 10 months and 29 days. 

Jean grew up in Walters, OK, graduating from Walters High School in 1971. She chose to further her education, completing her undergraduate studies in Michigan and Oklahoma. Jean received a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Oklahoma State University in 1978. Jean worked in various doctor’s offices and hospitals in the Bentonville/Rogers area most of her career. She was a traveling lab tech for a short time until her retirement.

In October of 1980 Jean married Mike Ziehe, and to the union 2 sons, John Arthur and Cory Daniel were born. Jean made her home at Bear Hollow in Pineville, MO for the last 43 years. She enjoyed her pets and loved her family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, John Ziehe, and her parents.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Cory and Janelle Ziehe of Rogers, AR; 2 grandchildren, Everett and Emmery Ziehe of Rogers; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Rhonda and Dan Raimondi of Edmond, OK, Beca and Richard Potter of Walters, OK; a brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Trudy Adkins of Edmond, OK; nieces, Kim Raimondi, Dana Haruff, Taylor Noland, and Olivia Potter; nephews, Tyson Potter, Matt Adkins, John Adkins; and many other beloved relatives and friends.
