Funeral Services at Randlett Baptist Church, Randlett, OK, Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., Russ Weaver officiating with burial in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home. Memorial Donations can be made to Randlett Baptist Church, P.O. Box 193, Randlett, OK 73562.

Johnnie Faye (Butler) Beavers was born to Jess Velma and Myrtle Bessie Dee (Long) Butler on May 1, 1928 in Grandfield, OK and departed this life in Cleburne, TX on July 1, 2021 at the age of 93 years and 2 months.

Johnnie grew up south of Randlett, OK on Rabbit Creek. She graduated from Randlett High School in 1946. On January 28, 1947 she married Grover Cleveland “G.C.” Beavers and to the union 2 sons were born. They made their home at Rabbit Creek where they were engaged in farming. They eventually bought a farm and moved to the Taylor Store community and the boys attended Temple Schools. Upon retirement the couple made their home in Walters, OK and then Burkburnett, TX before settling in Godley, TX in 2000. She later moved to Cleburne in 2008. 

Johnnie loved spending time with her siblings, grandkids and great grandkids. She enjoyed cooking and baking, dancing, and traveling. Randlett Baptist was her home church.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, G.C.; her son, Cleve Beavers; and 3 sisters, Cassie Smith, Velma Beavers and Venita Ingram.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Pat Beavers of Cleburne, TX; her brother, J.M. Butler and wife Marzie of Burkburnett, TX; 3 sisters, June Dyer of San Angelo, TX, Patsy Brown of Randlett, OK and Sharon Moyer of Godley, TX; 6 grandchildren and spouses, Stephanie Fischer and Bob of Georgetown, TX, Leah Holder of Seattle, WA, Leslie Leal and Paco of South Heaven, MS, Brandon Beavers and Katie of Gunter, TX, Brady Beavers and Rebekah of Van Alstyne, TX, Blake Beavers and Monica of Cleburne; 16 great grandchildren, her beloved nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
