Joy Belle (Bruce) Green VanCleave was born to Houston Riley and Stella Chesley (Maloy) Bruce on January 6, 1934 in Devol, OK and departed this life in Wichita Falls, TX on May 31, 2024 at the age of 90 years, 4 months and 25 days.

Joy grew up in Randlett and Devol, OK and has spent most of her adult life in Burkburnett and Wichita Falls, TX where she worked several years as a laundry technician for Flakes Uniform Company. She enjoyed dancing, spending time at home and growing her flowers. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Mickey Lynn Green; 3 siblings, Roy Bruce, Idella Norton and Norma Hatcher.

She is survived by a son, Aubrey Dean Green and Debbie Fulfer of Wichita Falls, TX; a brother-in-law, Phillip Hatcher of Okemah, OK; 6 grandchildren, David Green of Flagstaff, AZ, Gena Crain of Wichita Falls, Milo Green of Austin, TX, Melissa Jones of Wichita Falls, Laura Weatherread of Wichita Falls and Chad Fulfer of Decatur, TX; numerous great and great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
