Kenneth Fletcher

Graveside Services at the Walters Cemetery, Walters, OK on Monday, April 10, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters.

Kenneth Wayne Fletcher was born November 22, 1947 in Walters, OK to Elmer Kenneth and Lena Joan (Bates) Fletcher and departed this life in Sterling City, TX on April 6, 2023 at the age of 75 years, 4 months, 15 days.

Ken spent most of his younger years in Walters, OK and older years in Odessa but for a time in Hobbs, NM. He graduated from Odessa High School and received a bachelor's degree from BYU and a masters from Texas Tech.

Ken was a Vietnam Veteran, serving his country honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was an Educator and was an active member of the LDS Church. He enjoyed Hunting and fishing as well as spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, E.K. and Joan Fletcher, and his sister, Patricia Ann Fletcher.

Survivors include a son, Coby Wayne Fletcher of Escanaba, MI; 4 daughters, Tamara Ann Cardwell of San Antonio, TX, Diana Kay Roach of Midland, TX, Rebecca Sue Anderson of Mt. Pleasant, UT and Rachel Lowry of Paradise, TX; a sister, Kay Little of Midland, TX; 20 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
