Funeral Services at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel, Walters, OK, Monday, June 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., Pastor Bubba Clark officiating with burial in the Duncan Cemetery.

Melody Anne (Polczynski) Denham was born to Ruby Lee (Wright) and Stanley Robert Polczynski in Baltimore, MD on December 30, 1962 and departed this life in Duncan, OK on June 10, 2021 at the age of 58 years, 5 months and 11 days.

Melody grew up at Pauls Valley, OK, and work at the nursing home. She and Dennis Brent Denham became an item in 1980 and eventually married on November 6, 1992 in Marlow, OK. They moved several times through the years but mainly made their home in Duncan.

She did house-keeping at the hospital for a time but was mainly a homemaker. Melody enjoyed fishing and camping, singing, playing Rummy, scaring people, playing Grand Theft Auto and watching criminal shows.

She was preceded in death by her father and an infant son, John Andrew Denham.

Survivors include her mother, Ruby Mason of Wynnewood, OK; her husband, Brent Denham of Duncan; 4 children and spouses all of Duncan, Matthew Denham, Carl Ray Denham, Melinda Caldwell and Josh, Melissa Justice and Sean; 3 brothers, Michael Polczynski and Rena of Texas, Steven Polczynski of Wynnewood and Denny Polczynski of Santa Ana, CA; a sister, Marsha Edgar of Wynnewood; 4 grandchildren, Blaine, Landon, Kristina and Easton; other relatives and friends.
