Patricia "Pat" Parsons

Funeral Services at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel, Monday, March 18, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., with burial in the Walters Cemetery. A Rosary Service will be held on Sunday Evening at 6:30 pm.

Patricia Ann “Pat” Parsons was born to William Elmer and Mildred Elizabeth (Menz) Crowley on February 3, 1947 at Walters, OK and departed this life in Walters, OK on March 13, 2019 at the age of 72 years, 1 month and 10 days.

Pat grew up 8 miles east of Walters and graduated from Walters High School in 1965. She married Ernest Earl Parsons on September 30, 1967 at Walters and to the union 3 daughters were born. They moved around with the military until his retirement in 1979, settling back at Walters to help her parents with their farming operation. She also worked for a time at Haggar’s in Temple and following Ernest death in 2000 she worked several years for the Walters School Cafeteria.

Pat was a member of the Catholic Church. For many years she enjoyed gardening and loved cooking and taking food to the field for the guys. She was also a very active member of the Cheerful Workers Club for many years.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Mildred Crowley; her husband Ernest; and her grandson, Mason Prentice.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Renee Parsons of Walters, Gail Prentice of Lawton, Valerie Doggett and husband Cliff of San Antonio, TX; 4 grandchildren, Morgan Sias and husband Jacob, Mackenzie Chaat, Landra Doggett and Alison Doggett; 3 great grandchildren, Keirsten Landis, Heaven Sias and Hayden Sias; 2 sisters, Carolyn Wickwire and husband Charles of Hulen, OK, Kay McCall of Lawton, OK; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, many cousins, other relatives and friends.
