Ramona Lynn (Putman) Gadbury was born May 18, 1952 in Roswell, NM and departed this life in Temple, OK on January 3, 2024 at the age of 71 years, 7 months and 16 days.

Ramona grew up in Carlsbad, NM, making her home there for most of her life. She worked various jobs and eventually attended New Mexico State University in Carlsbad, graduating with her nursing degree in the mid 1990’s. She worked at Guadalupe Medical Center and later for Carlsbad Home Care as their Director of Nursing. 

Ramona had retired from nursing, and upon getting involved with Heart of Truth Ministries, she made the move to Oklahoma, serving as an Ordained Minister with the church. She was a talented seamstress and very artistic. She loved riding and caring for horses and her chihuahuas. She also enjoyed riding motorcycles.   

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Obie Putman and Vivian (Hill) Putman; and a brother, Richard Pettit.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, David and Jasmine Gadbury of Carlsbad, NM; 3 grandchildren, J.D. Gadbury, Alexis Gadbury and Brody Gadbury all of Carlsbad; 2 great grandchildren, Talon and Winston; a sister and brother-in-law, Tracy Wade and Johnny of Ruidoso, NM; a sister-in-law, Katherine Pettit; her best friend, Sharon Jones of Hastings, OK; other relatives and a host of church family and friends.
