Randy Burleson

Graveside Services at Fairview Cemetery, Randlett, OK, Friday, April 14, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., Rodney Brooks officiating. Visitation will be held at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters, OK on Thursday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Randy Linell Burleson was born to Connie Linell and Sandra Lee (Skolrud) Burleson on September 22, 1960 at Witter, CA and departed this life in Burkburnett, TX on April 10, 2023 at the age of 62 years, 6 months and 19 days.

Coming from California at an early age, Randy has made his home in Randlett, OK, where he graduating from Big Pasture High School in the late 1970’s. He did lawncare, plumbing, construction and about anything else a handyman can be asked to do. He married Judy Fay (Swinney) Johnson on July 20, 1984 in Wichita Falls, TX.

Randy was a member of Randlett Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing pool, watching TV, riding go-carts, and playing games in general. He was known to build things to the point of dangerous and loved going all out to decorate his home and yard for Halloween.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandy Burleson.

Survivors include his wife, Judy of the home; his father Connie Burleson of Wichita Falls; his kids, Michelle White and Lance of Marlow, OK, Robert Bateman of Oklahoma City, Edward Johnson of Wichita Falls, and Darren Johnson of Oklahoma City; his sister, Cayley Webster and Chris of Wichita Falls; a sister-in-law, Karen and Tommy McNair and daughters, Brandi and Misti; 11 grandchildren, Justin Wiles, Jeremy Wiles, Zane White, Aiden White, Paige Williams, Matthias Bateman, Peachlynn Bateman, Cierra Hooper, Bryce Johnson, Ethan Johnson, Stephen Johnson; 5 great grandchildren, Dax and Natalie Wiles, Jaxton Thompson, Paisley and Jacobi Williams; a granddaughter-in-law, Nicole Wiles; 3 aunts, Carole Cooke, Joan Skolrud and Valqueta Brooks; other relatives and friends.
