Rick Beare, 77, Orange, CA

Memorial Services at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, OK, on Friday, November 6, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. with Military Honors under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home, Walters, OK.

Richard George “Rick” Beare was born August 13, 1949 in Hamilton, Canada and departed this life in Lawton, OK on October 7, 2026 at the age of 77 years, 1 month and 25 days.

Rick grew up in Hamburg, New York. Rick served in the United States Marine Corps from 1969-1976 and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant. Rick made his home mainly in California through the years, but most recently moved from Orange, CA to Oklahoma to be near his mother and sister.

He was preceded in death by his father, Laverne Ryerson “Tom” Beare, His wife Teri Lee Ledbetter-Beare, and a brother, Buckley Thomas “Buck” Beare.

Rick is survived by his mother, “Susie” Bates of Marlow, OK; 2 children, Shana Colleen Anderson of Las Vegas, NV and Danny Richard Beare of Murrieta, Ca; his sister, Robin Lee Camielle Beare of Waurika, OK; grandkids, Breanna Christine Adamiak, Daimeon Michael Anderson, Daylin McKenzie Beare, Madison Bailee Anderson, and Brendon Alexander Beare.
