Richard Langford

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., at the Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Temple, OK.

Richard Dwayne Langford was born October 10, 1960, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Kermit and Geraldine Langford. After a long illness, he departed this life on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. He was 63 years old.

Richard grew up in Temple and Norman Oklahoma. He is a 1979 graduate of Temple High School where he enjoyed football and hanging out with friends. Soon after graduation, he married fellow Temple Tiger, Paula Bowles. 

After school, Richard went to work for an oil field construction company where he became a skilled welder. For many years he worked as a welder for different companies in the Norman area.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents and sister Karen Morris. He is survived by sister Janice Gamble, and brothers Steve, Warren, and Phil Langford. Richard has a ton of adoring nieces, nephews and many friends.
