Ronald Dee Reece

Private Funeral Services were held at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel, Walters, Friday, April 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. with interment in the Walters Cemetery.

Ronald Dee Reece Sr. was born August 6, 1946 in Walters, OK to G.W. and Lora (Briscoe) Reece and departed this life in Duncan, OK on March 28, 2026 at the age of 79 years, 7 months and 22 days.

Ronnie grew up at Walters. He married Pamela Faith Creel on December 18, 1973. They made their home in Walters, Lawton, back to Walters and then to Duncan for the past 15 years.

Ronnie served 20 years in the National Guard. He was known as “the carpet guy,” and he built houses and did roofing as well. He loved fishing and hanging out with his grandson, Jacob.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers; 2 sisters; and an infant daughter, Lora.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Pam Reece; 8 kids, Rhonda Brooks, Ronald Reece Jr. and Lynette, Penny Stevenson and Bo, Sharla Miller, Jennifer Nalanga, Amy Hernandez, Jonathan Reece and Penny, Jeremy Reece and Kendra; 24 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Mike Roof, Jim Roof and Doug Roof; other relatives and friends.
