Ronald Dale "Keith" Trotter

A Funeral Service will be held at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel, Walters, OK, Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 2:00 pm Interment at Walters Cemetery. Viewing at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters, Tuesday 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Wednesday 9:00 am to 1:30 pm.

Ronald Dale “Keith” Trotter was born to Howard Cornelius and Florence (Adams) Trotter on February 11, 1941, in Walters, OK and departed this life in Lawton, OK on November 2, 2025, at the age of 84 years, 8 months, and 22 days.

Keith grew up in the Cookietown Community north of Randlett, OK, attending Union Valley School, and finishing his last two years at Big Pasture High School. He was a longtime member of Faith Mission Church in Temple and enjoyed attending Union Valley Church in Cookietown as well.

Keith loved to sit on the porch watching the guys work the farm and cows. He loved all things John Deere especially combines. He loved doing arts and crafts like latch hook and making art with sequins. He loved his Phyllis and his Jarvis. He loved flirting and telling women “You’re so pretty” and “Pretty Girl.” All he knew was to be happy and excited and it was infectious.

He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Florence and his brother David Trotter and sister-in-law Alice Trotter.

He is survived by his guardians, Chris and Nancy Jarvis and their boys, Hesston and Parker, and many friends.
