Sally Orene (Krieger) Kirkpatrick was born to Kristopher Paul and William Pauline (Stephenson) Krieger on May 25, 1934 in Marlow, OK and departed this life in Wichita Falls, TX on February 3, 2024 at the age of 89 years, 8 months and 9 days.

Sally grew up moving around with her dad’s oilfield jobs, but has always called Marlow home. She married Mark John Kirkpatrick on October 6, 1952 and to the union a daughter, Paulette, was born.  Sally worked at the Stephens County Court House in the Treasurers Office and the Assessor’s Office. She also owned the Daisy Patch consignment shop where she made and sold ceramics.

Sally was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church Marlow until 2015 when she began attending Cache Creek Cowboy Church in Lawton with her daughter and grandchildren. She enjoyed taking care of her birds and loved raising flowers as she had a green thumb.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Kirkpatrick; her parents, Kristopher Krieger and Pauline Dungan; a brother, James Dungan; a sister, Jo O’Hagan; a son-in-law, David Turner; and a grandson, Ryan Turner.

Survivors include her daughter, Paulette Turner of Walters; 3 granddaughters, Kristi Ash and R.D. of Lawton, Kim Johnson of Walters, Staci Kloxin and Will of Walters; great grandchildren, Camber Thagard and Britton of Edmond, Kenzi and Kenadee Ash of Lawton, Alexis Valdez of Walters, Tagan and Riggin Kloxin of Walters; her brother and sisters, Butch Dungan and Linda of Fort Smith, AR, Selma Grace Brooking of Cache, OK, Clarese Harmeyer and Lynn of Marlow; and many other beloved family and friends.
