Funeral Service at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel, Walters, 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 19, 2026, Rev. Tara Brown officiating. Viewing at Hart-Wyatt in Temple on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am to 8 pm.

Teresa Charlene (Collins) McClung was born to Ralph M. and Mary Lucille (Age) Collins on February 9, 1955 in Duncan, OK and departed this life in Duncan, OK on March 14, 2026 at the age of 71 years, 1 month and 5 days.

Teresa grew up on a farm east of Temple, OK, graduating from Temple High School in 1973. She married Larry Alton Wrape and to the union 3 children were born. Early on she worked at First State Bank in Temple before the family moved to Walters. In the 1980’s she opened Teresa’s Flowers beginning a long career in floral design. She moved to Comanche for 4 years working at Pat’s Flowers then returned to Walters, working at Greer’s Flowers in Wichita Falls while attending Cameron University. She received her Bachelor of Computer Science in the mid 1990’s.

Having met Sonny McClung, Teresa and daughter Jamie moved to Paradise Valley in 1996. She and Sonny married in 1998 and in 2001 the couple purchased Lawton Floral West. Teresa ran the shop until 2018, a year after the loss of Sunny. She then worked at Ramon’s for a time then moved to Pennsylvania, living with her sister for a year. She returned to Temple and worked at the Nutrition Center from 2021 to the present.

Teresa enjoyed plowing while growing up on the farm. She loved going to Coffee at Hop-N-Sak, visiting with people, watching Wheel of Fortune, and loved her dog, Cowboy. She also enjoyed attending the Presbyterian Churches in Temple and Walters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Earl “Sonny” McClung in 2017; her parents, John Curtis and Lucille Collins; a brother, Curtis Collins; and 2 sisters, Janet Collins and CJ Collins.

Survivors include 2 sons, Keith Wrape and Jason Wrape both of Temple; a daughter, Jamie Wrape of Temple; a granddaughter, Honesty Lucas and Elija of TN; a great granddaughter, Ivy Lucas; her nieces and nephews, Rodney, Brian and Jeffrey Collins, Valarie Clark, Ryan Early and Kimbra Early.
