Funeral Services at Cameron Baptist Church, Lawton on September 3, 2025 at 1:00 pm, Rev. Jay Driskill and Rev. Mike Teel officiating with burial in the Cache Cemetery. Visitation at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home, Walters, Tuesday, September 2nd from 5-7:00 pm.

Thomas Riley Landis, Jr. was born to Sophronia Ann (Mitchell) and Tommy Riley Landis Sr. on November 17, 1955 in Houston, TX and departed this life in Cache, OK on August 27, 2025 at the age of 69 years, 9 months and 10 days.

Tommy grew up all over Tennessee. He came to Walters High School as a sophomore to live with his dad, graduating from WHS in 1973. While in school he worked for Kenneth Simpson, and went on harvest with the Parks and Flanagan families. He first met Doris Lucinda “Cindy” Hoodenpyle at age 14 and they married shortly after high school on January 19,1974 in Walters.

They lived in Walters until moving to Coffeeville, KS when he got on with Halliburton. They were soon back to Walters where he eventually started Lanco in 1977. With the business growing, they moved their shop and home to Cache, OK in 2000.

Tommy was a member of Cameron Baptist Church. He enjoyed going to the lake, riding motorcycles and 4-wheelers, and sports cars and many other toys. He was up for anything with the grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Tommy Sr.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy of the home; his mother, Ann Robbins of Brentwood, TN; his daughter, Christy LaPierre and Jeremy of Cache; his son Riley Landis of Cache; 2 sisters, Leanne Robbins of Brentwood, Sarah Sheilley and Ken of Louisville, KT; 7 grandchildren, John Valdez of Reno, NV, Devin Valdez and Meagan of Lawton, Kelsie LaPierre of Salt Lake City, UT, Kylie Landis of Norman, OK, Camden LaPierre of Norman, Thomas Riley Landis IV of Cache and Caiden LaPierre of Cache; 5 great grandchildren, Haidyn, River, Josie, Cooper and Rustin; his mother-in-law, Judy Hoodenpyle; other relatives and a host of friends.

Memorial Donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
