Memorial Services at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel, Walters, OK on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. A Celebration of Life will also take place at Ozona's Bar on Greenville Ave. in Dallas, TX on Sunday, July 21st.
Timothy Scott Vardell was born to Ramon Paul and Belva Jo (Mullins) Vardell on July 25, 1963 in San Diego, CA and departed this life in Garland, TX on June 20, 2024 at the age of 60 years, 10 months 26 days.
With his dad in the military, Tim grew up in California, Hawaii, Oklahoma, Texas, North Carolina, Ponca City, OK, South Carolina and then settled in Walters, OK, graduating from WHS in 1981. He worked for the City of Walters until moving to the Dallas Metro Area. There he worked for Texas General Mechanical, then for Highland Park ISD for 33 years and was currently working in maintenance for his brother at Jesuit Prep in Dallas.
He met his wife, Brenda Kaye Marcom, when she began working at HPISD. They married on July 20, 2001 in Irving, TX, raising the kids in Justin and making their home in Garland since 2013. He and Brenda have enjoyed 23 crazy, busy years of marriage, family and friends.
Tim enjoyed hunting with his family, traveling, liked being on the go and eating. He loved his dogs, Willie and Dollie and loved going to New Orleans. He loved life to the fullest and family, family, family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ramon Vardell; his grandparents and several beloved aunts and uncles on both the Mullins and Vardell sides of the family.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda of the home; his mother, Belva Vardell of Marlow; 2 daughters, Savannah Leigh and J.C. Pacheco of Forney, TX, Amanda Neckar and C.J. of Saginaw, TX; a son, Cody Wayne Vardell of Garland, TX; 4 grandchildren, Madelyn LaRue, Cason Neckar, Brooks Neckar and Jace Timothy Pacheco; a sister, Monica Chrismon and Donnie of Cyril, OK; a brother, Kevin and Kayla Vardell of Grapevine, TX; his nephews and niece and families, Aaron Evans and Brooke (Bryson and Addi), Aric Evans and Jennifer (Rylee and Case), Kristopher Vardell and Leenie (Kayden and Knox), and Kendall Vardell; an uncle, Billy Don Mullins and Gennell; an aunt, Connie Smith; his mother-in-law, Claudine “Dene” Marcom; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law on Brenda’s side, Jim and Kim, Deena and Ronnie, Tina and Mark, and their families; many beloved cousins and friends.
Memorial Donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
