Funeral Service at First Presbyterian Church, Temple, OK, Friday, February 17, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., Elder Tara Brown officiating with burial in the Temple Cemetery under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Temple. 

Visitation on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hart-Wyatt in Temple.

Come and go viewing on Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9-11:30 a.m.

Tommy Doyle Holdbrook was born to Porter and Mary (Harkins) Holdbrook on September 4, 1937 at Hastings, OK and departed this life on February 12, 2023 in Temple, OK.

Tommy grew up at Davidson, OK and in the Red Store Community southeast of Temple. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves with a stint in Germany. He returned to Oklahoma and went to work in Wichita Falls for M&T Tank Company that later became known at Burgess Manning. He retired after 30 plus years with the company.

Tommy married Billie L. Barnes on July 31, 1970 in Wichita Falls and the union 2 children were born. Tommy enjoyed Gardening, mowing, washing and cleaning his truck. He loved sweets and his Dr. Pepper.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Hank, Donald and JR Holdbrook; and 4 sisters, Billie Hooper, Juanita Baxter, Dollie Smith and Birdie Erwin.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Billie of the home; a son, Jody Holdbrook of Temple; a daughter, Darla Morris and Charlie of Temple; a brother, Roy Holdbrook and Sharon of Burkburnett, TX; a grandson, Charles Morris Jr. and Nita of Center, TX; 5 great grandkids; and numerous nieces and nephews.
