Virginia Beverly Queen

Virginia Beverly (Goes In Center) Queen was born to Abraham Goes In Center and Victoria Hope (Little Crow) Crazy Bear on April 26, 1944 in Scottsbluff, NE and departed this life in Duncan, OK on July 29, 2025 at the age of 81 years, 3 months, and 3 days.

Virginia grew up in South Dakota living in Rapid City and Norris. She attended St. Francis Catholic School in St. Francis, SD.

After moving to Oklahoma, she worked several jobs over the years including being a seamstress at Haggar Slacks Factory, a secretary for Standard Life and Accident Insurance Company and was employed at Hobby Lobby. She was married to Jim Queen until his passing.

She enjoyed reading, crocheting, word search puzzles, and garage sales.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Abraham and Victoria; a brother, Ambrose; her husband Jim Queen; a son Roy; a great granddaughter Camrey; and a great grandson Sebastian.

Survivors include her sister, Donna Johnson; daughters, Alberta Reed and Gail Bowers Godwin; bonus daughter Summer Penn; grandsons, Brian J Lipscomb, Chris Reed, Royce C. Bowers, Phillip Reed, and Duane Reed; great grandchildren, and a great great grandson on the way.
