William “Billy Ray” Wise, 69, Temple, OK

William Ray Wise was born September 7, 1957, in Hawthorne, CA, to William J. Wise and Patricia Wise, and passed away October 4, 2026, in Temple, OK, at the age of 69.

Billy Ray grew up in California and lived at various times in Arizona, Washington, Kansas, and Oklahoma. He graduated from high school in Ridgecrest, CA, in 1977. He married Brenda Jones on June 17, 1977 and to the union 2 children were born. Billy Ray worked as a drywall installer, with experience in both residential and commercial construction.

He was preceded in death by his father, William J. Wise, and many other family members.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Wise; 2 children, Hezekiah Wise and Sequoia Wise; 4 grandchildren, Dakota Ybarra and husband Gage, Hunter Brown, K’dyn Jones, and Cheyenne Wise; 4 great-grandchildren, Adalyn Metcalf, Aidan McDonough, Nolan Brown, and Nathan Wise; his sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Bob Austin; nephew Dustin Austin and wife Kelly, and their daughter, Quinn Austin; niece Raelynn Austin and her son, Ryan Atkinson; and niece Heather Luthi and husband Alex, and their sons, Ivan and Jack Luthi; other relatives and friends.
