Funeral Services at First Christian Church, Walters, OK on Thursday, July 23 at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Jeff Hooser officiating under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters. Memorial Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Walters Education Foundation.

Viewing from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22nd.


Patricia Ann “Pat” Coker was born to George B. and India (Campbell) Ogle on December 2, 1929 in Clinton, OK and departed this life in Jenks, OK on July 20, 2020 at the age of 90 years, 7 months and 18 days.

Pat grew up in Arapaho, OK, graduating from Arapaho High School. She married Darrell Earl Coker on June 27, 1948 in Clinton, OK and to the union 3 children were born. The couple made Walters their home where, for many years, they owned and operated a John Deere dealership called Coker Implement Co. They also engaged in farming and ranching.

Pat was a homemaker and a bookkeeper for Coker Implement. She enjoyed decorating, gardening and was an active member of the Garden Club and First Christian Church in Walters for many years. The couple moved to Edmond, OK in 1994 where they were active at FCC of Edmond. Pat later moved to Tulsa to be near family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Leone Smith, Thelma Boyles, Leonard Ogle, Victor Ogle, Raymond Ogle, Vincent Ogle, Wesley Ogle and Charles Ogle; her spouse, Darrell Coker in 2001; and her son, Darrell Coker, Jr. in 1987.

Survivors include 2 children, son Stephen R. Coker of Orange County, CA and daughter Sandra L. Nelson and her husband David, of Bixby, OK; 5 grandchildren and their spouses, Amy Lawder and Michael, Mark Coker and Stephanie, Andrew Nelson and Sarah, Debra Johnson and Kenneth, and Rachel Nelson; 9 great grandchildren, Kate Lawder, Wes Coker, Lyric Coker, Jocelyn Coker, Grady Coker, Sam Johnson, Evelyn Johnson, Atticus Nelson, Daniel Nelson; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
